Casita’s are handmade at the Casita Enterprises, Inc. factory in Rice, Texas, with an emphasis on durability, strength, and attention to detail. From the ultra-durable fiberglass shell to the custom interior finishes, every Casita is built to last, ensuring a lifetime of worry-free travel.
Fiberglass Body Construction
Casita’s ultra durable top and bottom fiberglass hulls and fiberglass interior furniture are hand made at the Casita Enterprises, Inc. factory in Rice, Texas. The strong and lightweight fiberglass shell construction of Casita’s eliminate siding-over-frame construction and has no roof seems. We put the extra time and care into each unit, ensuring your adventure is only the best quality.
Belly Band Seal
Every Casita has a fiberglass matt core in the construction of the top and bottom hull which adds strength and longevity. After the top and bottom hulls are blown, tested and inspected, they are adhered together and clamped down to ensure an airtight bond. Once the adhesive sets, the middle of the trailer is glassed together to ensure a permanent “seamless” stronger than steel bond that lasts and lasts.
Sealed/Reinforced Base Flooring
Every Casita’s floor is reinforced with1/2″ composite flooring and glassed onto the fiberglass bottom hull to ensure a strong, lightweight,, bond that is ultra durable, and ultra strong.
Interior Construction Part 1
After the body of the trailer is tested and inspected the interior construction process begins with the installation of pre-wiring, custom wall insulation, custom vinyl flooring, and base level appliances.
Interior Construction Part 2
After a series of rigorous testing and fine detailed inspection the trailer is moved on to the installation of all fiberglass furniture and storage cabinetry, as well as stand alone furniture.
Interior Construction Part 3
Once part 2 is completed and the Casita is vigorously tested and inspected, it moves into the last part of the interior construction process. This is where the final items are crafted and installed such as the wooden cabinet doors, bathroom doors, and tables. This is also where the installation of the final appliances takes place such as the Air conditioner, refrigerator, and microwave.
Rain Storm Simulator
A 45 rain storm simulator is performed on every Casita at the Casita Enterprises, Inc. factory before being shipped to the dealer.
