Fiberglass Body Construction

Casita’s ultra durable waterproof top and bottom fiberglass hulls and fiberglass interior furniture are hand made at our factory in Rice, Texas. The strong and lightweight fiberglass shell construction of Casita Travel Trailers eliminates siding-over-frame construction and has no roof seems. We put the extra time and care into each unit, ensuring your adventure is only the best quality.

Belly Band Seal

Like the fiberglass hulls and furniture, we go the extra mile ensuring that your trailer will thrive on every adventure you go on. We use a fiberglass matt core in the construction of our top and bottom molds which adds strength and longevity. After the top and bottom hulls are blown, tested and inspected, they are adhered together and clamped down to ensure an airtight bond. Once the adhesive sets, the middle of the trailer is glassed together to ensure a permanent “seamless” stronger than steel bond that is water proof and lasts and lasts.

Sealed/Reinforced Base Flooring

We believe in worry free adventure, and that’s why we give you a trailer that has the same foundation on all your travel journey’s. Every Casita’s floor is reinforced with1/2″ ply wood and glassed onto the fiberglass bottom hull to ensure a strong, lightweight, waterproof, bond that is ultra durable, ultra strong, and ultra rot proof.

Interior Construction Part 1

Casita continues it’s quality construction from the glass room to the interior production facility. After the body of the trailer is tested and inspected to Casita standards, the interior construction process begins with the installation of pre-wiring, custom wall insulation, custom vinyl flooring, and base level appliances. This is the start of where your trailer truly becomes your own with the installation of optional add ons and features chosen by you to make your custom adventure a reality.

Interior Construction Part 2

After a series of rigorous testing and fine detailed inspection to Casita standards, we move on to the installation of all fiberglass furniture and storage cabinetry, as well as stand alone furniture. Interior Construction Part 3

Once part 2 is completed and the Casita is vigorously tested and inspected, we move into the last part of the interior construction process.
